Six Sigma is more than “just” production – join us at ‘Finance-day’

The 9th of November 2017 Storm have planned a so called ‘Finance-day’. A day where we look into the advantaged of using Six Sigma in a non-manufacturing environment – more precisely; the advantage of using Six Sigma in the financial sector.

Who is Kamran Zamir? – Six Sigma expert in Denmark

As part of ‘Finance-day’ Six Sigma enthusiast and expert Kamran Zamir will be joining and making a presentation due to his experiences and knowledge on the area.

Kamran has more than 20 years + of experience across a broad range of industries and business dynamics in UK, Jersey (Channel Islands), Europe and Middle East. He is managing partner, trainer and consultant in the Lean Six Sigma training and consulting firm ‘Game Change’, where he among other accomplishments has personally trained over 3000 belts since 2005 in the UK and internationally.

Kamran is experienced in managing the full project life-cycle from planning and scoping through to delivery. He is GE and Honeywell Certified Master Black Belt in process variability reduction (DMAIC), process waste reduction (LEAN) and growth through innovation (DFSS) principles.

He gained experience through clients all over the world, including: States of Jersey, NHS (UK), Maersk (Denmark), Cap Gemini Norge AS (Norway), Swinton Insurance (UK), Dansk Supermarked Group, Etisalat Academy (Dubai), Spenncon AS (Norway), Magellan Aerospace (UK), Sodexo (UK), Royal Bank of Canada, Intertrust Fiduciary Services.

What will Kamran be talking about at ‘Finance-day’?

The main purpose/topic of Kamran’s presentation at ‘Finance-day’ will be to demystify the usage of Lean Six Sigma in Financial Services. Through case study examples Kamran will present his area of expertise, and hopefully create a less complex understanding of how we can use Six Sigma in relation to finance.

Kamran sees several gains when using Six Sigma in Financial Services. For him it is about:

  • Leading, planning and executing change
  • Delivering greater customer satisfaction
  • Creating world class service quality
  • Revenue growth
  • Creating more efficient use of capital and internal talent

Even though Kamran will be demystifying the usage of Six Sigma in the Financial Services, he acknowledges the challenges related to using Lean and Six Sigma in a non-manufacturing environment – and that is why this presentation is very interesting.

We are proud to bid Kamran welcome the 9th of November at Storm – House of Six Sigma – and we look very much forward to the visit.
